Aodhan is a new Irish blend made at the Great Northern Distillery. The core expression is a blend of 46 percent malt and 54 percent grain whiskey, aged from three to ten years in a variety of cask types. Beyond that, there are blends finished in cognac casks and deeply charred ex-bourbon barrels, as well as an 18-year-old single malt (not distilled at Great Northern) aged in bourbon barrels and finished in freshly dumped cognac casks.
My task was to create a classic and luxury label design.
